Android malware on phone

These malware removal apps have thousands of downloads on the Play Store – remove them now

A new set of malware dropper Apps have been discovered on the Google Play Store, these apps using fake updaters to install banking Trojans on the devices of unsuspecting users.

As reported by BeepComputer (opens in a new tab), malware droppers find it much easier than rogue apps to get to official app stores like the Play Store, because they actually don’t contain any malicious code. Instead, they can infect Android smartphones with malware after installation.
